Clematis 'Veronica's Choice'

Large very pale lavender, almost white, double flowers on old wood in early summer, single on new wood in the autumn (photo #3). Wavy edged tepals. Ideal for a semi-shaded position. An unusual clematis raised by Walter Pennell from seed set in 1962 and sown in 1963, and named in 1973 after his second eldest daughter. A hybrid of 'Vyvyan Pennell' x 'Percy Lake'.
