Clematis 'Bal Tsvetov'

Very large pale violet flowers with a darker bar having wavy edges to the tepals. The anthers are a purple-violet colour. The flowers abundantly cover the stems during the flowering season, hence the name 'the ball of the flowers' - we suspect a reference to Tchaikovsky's 'Nutcracker' ballet.
