These photographs come from the collection of Werner Stastny who bought this cultivar near Hamburg. He comments that it is very difficult to photograph the flowers because they 'look straight to heaven'. The flowers are creamy-white with yellow stamens. 'Schneeglanz' originates from a nursery in Frankfurt Oder which closed in 1990. We know little more about it, at present, but Werner is trying to contact the ex-Head Gardener of the nursery for us. In the meantime, we would welcome further information.
