'Virginale'

Medium sized, semi-double, pink-purple flowers. The name means 'innocent'. The last listing given by Magnus Johnson for this cultivar is in 1935, Riekstina has the name on a list of 77 cultivars introduced into Latvia between 1870 and 1910. It now appears to be lost from cultivation - please contact us if you know otherwise.
