x durandii 'Pallida'

This name appears in Spingarn's 1935 lists and in Markham's book of the same year from whence comes the black and white photograph. Curiously, Markham provides no description other than the caption to the photograph: "a robust shrub which blooms over a long period, therefore very suitable for low fences and Hardy Flower-Borders. Height 8 ft."

Group: Integrifolia group
Approximate height: 2.0 - 2.5 metres
Parentage: Selection from x durandii
Other name(s): 'Durandii Pallida'; x durandii var pallida
