Small, drooping, bell-shaped, scented flowers, shiny, deep brownish purple-violet. Pale green staminiodes. Best grown in full sun to encourage the scent. Originally named 'Brunette', the cultivar was later renamed 'Catullus' (after the Roman poet) but the original name is still used.
