CLIMADOR 'Königskind'
Pale violet flowers with deep violet, almost black, anthers. Very free-flowering. Ideal for containers due to its compact habit. A seedling of 'The President' raised in Germany at the nursery of Friedrich Manfred, Westphal in 1982. (Magnus Johnson in Slaktet Klematis has 1989 - RG). 'Königskind' means child of a king. In late 2003, UK nurseries started selling this form under the name 'Blue Blood'.
