Clematis 'Charissima'

Very large cerise-pink flowers with deeper pink bar and veins. Red anthers. Raised by Walter Pennell from seed sown in 1962 and named in 1974 by Sheila Gilbert, a long-serving Pennell employee, who refused to have this variety named after her.
