Clematis 'Charles Lacaux'
Semi-double with rose-mauve tepals. This cultivar is mentioned by Markham (1935) but now appears to be lost from cultivation - please contact us if you know otherwise. Magnus Johnson tentatively suggests that this cultivar may have been bred by Ernest Markham but the latter's book makes no such suggestion.
