Clematis 'Albatross'

According to BBC Gardeners' World Magazine (March 2002) 'Albatross' has large flowers with elegant, white, pointed petals (sic) with white stamens and magenta anthers.' It appeared on the UK market in 2001. The first Supplement to the International Clematis Register and Checklist describes the flower as white with creamy yellow stamens; you will see from the photographs that our specimen fits the former description.
