Clematis 'Albina Plena'
Macropetala type. A beautiful cultivar with long, pure white tepals and yellow anthers. The flowers are 6-8cm across. Main flowering April-May. This hybrid of C. fauriei x C. sibirica F2 also repeat flowers throughout summer. Raised by Magnus Johnson in 1982. 'Albina Plena' is, in fact, an illegitimate name under international conventions but is in widespread use.
