Clematis 'Lynne'
Small to medium sized flowers, pale blue to pale pink depending on light conditions, colour darker on the ribs. The reverse of the tepals has a silver-grey sheen. Flowers semi-nodding and broadly bell-shaped at first, becoming flattish, outward facing and erect. Yellow-green stamens. Very floriferous. Named by Ian Lang and Richard Green to commemorate a close friend, Lynne Evans, who died in 1997 following a long fight with cancer.
