Tepals: 4; 4cm long x 2.5 cm wide, narrowly ovate, touching at base, with undulating margins, long-pointed with apiculate or acuminate apex, tip often twisted
Staminodes: ten or more, usually petaloid, white, not more than half length of sepals, but sometimes up to 3 or 4 staminodes maturing sepaloid, very narrow, two-thirds length of sepals, white tinged purplish blue; styles pale green; stigmas white.
